Francesco returns to the BBC Proms on 14 July for the second concert of the festival. He joins the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Alain Altinoglu at the Royal Albert Hall for a performance of Mozart Piano Concerto No.27 in B-flat major, K.595. Francesco previously performed at the Proms in 2015, when he joined Aurora Orchestra to play Mozart Piano Concerto No.26.
Francesco follows his Proms performance with another festival appearance, this time at the Mostly Mozart Festival at New York’s Alice Tully Hall. On 20 and 21 July he again performs Mozart Piano Concerto No.27, this time with Thomas Dausgaard and the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra.
On the chamber stage, Francesco also gives several recitals at Norway’s Lofoten International Chamber Music & Piano Festival from 9 July. During the festival he performs works by composers including Mozart, Wagner, Schubert, Brahms and Dvorák and collaborates with artists including Yulianna Avdeeva and Bertrand Chamayou.
