Bertrand Boissard, Elsa Fottorino and Philippe Venturini of France Musique gathered in August to choose their favourite recording of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.26. Their choice was Francesco’s 2016 recording for Linn Records, made with Andrew Manze and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, commending its “perfect taste” and “virtuoso exchanges”.
Francesco’s recording was competing against versions by some of classical music’s greatest names, including Maria João Pires and his mentor Alfred Brendel. Click here to see the full list.
