Francesco returns to London on 4 November to perform with the Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall. Part of the Piano Masterworks season, the concert sees Francesco perform Beethoven’s famous Piano Concerto No.5, nicknamed ‘Emperor’. The concert is conducted by Lahav Shani, Chief Conductor of the Rotterdam Philharmonic.
The following week, Francesco travels to Manchester for a series of concerts with the Hallé Orchestra and their Music Director, Sir Mark Elder. On 7 and 8 November he performs Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No.1 at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall, and then on 9 November he and the orchestra travel to Sheffield where they perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.5.
Francesco rounds off the month in Italy for a series of concerts with the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, performing Brahms’ Piano Concerto No.2 on 29 and 30 November.
