Francesco makes a return to the Radio Symphony Orchestra Berlin on 10 November, replacing Yefim Bronfman for a performance of Beethoven Piano Concerto No.4 conducted by Marek Janowski.
Francesco recently performed this concerto for his debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in August. The LA Times wrote:
“…an unaffected, alternately sparkling and passionately inward rendition of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.4, featuring Swiss pianist Francesco Piemontesi in his L.A. Phil debut… Piemontesi showed an unpredictable temperament all his own.”
