Looking ahead to the 2020/21 season while the current calendar is on pause, Francesco is delighted to announce a string of exciting engagements.
Beginning in September, Francesco will make his debut with the Berlin Philharmonic, performing Mozart’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 27 in B flat major, K. 595. The orchestra will be lead by Lahav Shani, also making his Berlin Philharmonic debut.
Francesco will also make history with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, named as their first ever Artist in Residence. Francesco will feature in four programmes, a masterclass and a chamber performance across the 2020/21 season, as well as a new recording. In December 2020 Francesco returns to the Elbphilharmonie to play with NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra and Herbert Blomstedt, and in March 2021 he will perform two concerts with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra under Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla.
