Francesco joins Sir Roger Norrington and the SWR Symphonieorchester Stuttgart for a tour of Germany and the UK this month, beginning with two concerts at the orchestra’s home in Stuttgart on 8 and 9 March. They then visit Mannheim and Freiburg before travelling to the UK for concerts in Cardiff, Basingstoke and London, where the tour culminates at Cadogan Hall.
During the tour, Francesco performs Beethoven Piano Concerto No.3, part of a programme that also features Beethoven’s famous ‘Eroica’ Symphony and German composer Jörg Widmann’s Con Brio.
Francesco ends March with another tour, this time with Emmanuel Krivine and the Orchestre National de France. The tour begins at the Festival de Pâques in Aix-en-Provence and also includes concerts in Paris and Dijon, with Francesco the soloist in Richard Strauss’ Burleske in D minor.
